This stunning dress from Spanish brand Psophia brings a simple A line design to life, with a distinctively Oriental feel together with the most marvellous array of sequin adornment. In jet black, which makes this dress all the more striking, the A line design is exaggerated by the short Mandarin collar, the short set of asymmetric buttons that run to one side and the short sleeves. The fabric, which is a wonderfully smooth cotton poplin, makes this dress lightweight and comfortable to wear while lending some structure to the look. However, it is the sequin embellishment to the length of the dress that takes centre stage. The sequins are not shiny or garish; the colours are a soft, muted combination of creams, pale gold and a toffee caramel which sit against the black background in such an elegant and sophisticated way.
